Synova Connect
Web forms overview
Create, share, and manage custom online forms in Synova Connect that feed responses straight into your CRM and tickets.
Web forms let you create custom online forms that connect directly to your CRM. When someone fills out a form, their responses are stored as CRM contact data and a ticket is automatically created for follow-up.
Getting started
Navigate to Web Forms from the sidebar of your Synova Connect dashboard. You will see the main forms list showing all your existing forms.
Creating a new form
- Click Create New Form on the forms list page.
- In the template selection modal, either choose a pre-built template (each shows a preview, description, and suggested fields) or click Start from Scratch to begin with a blank form.
- If you have multiple agents, a prompt asks you to Select an Agent to associate the form with. Choose from the dropdown and click Confirm.
- The form builder opens. See Building a web form for full details.
Form states
Each form can be in one of these states:
- Draft — A saved work-in-progress that is not publicly accessible. You can continue editing a draft at any time.
- Latest (Published) — The live version that visitors see when they open the form link.
- Previous Version — An older published version that has been superseded.
You can toggle a form on or off using the switch on each form card. Enabling a previous version promotes it to the latest version.
Sharing a published form
Click the Share button on any published form to open the Share Form modal. From there you can:
- Copy Link — Copies the public URL to your clipboard.
- Copy Embed Code — Copies an `<iframe>` snippet you can paste into your website HTML.
- Email to Developer — Opens a pre-filled email with the form link and embed code so your web developer can add it to your site.
- Preview in New Tab — Opens the live form in a new browser tab.
The embed code looks like this: `<iframe src="https://your-form-url" width="100%" height="600px" style="border: none; border-radius: 8px;"></iframe>`
Viewing form details
Click on any form card to see the Form Details view, which shows all published versions of that form, toggle switches to enable or disable each version, and options to Edit or View each version.
Editing a published form
When you click Edit on a published form, the system creates a draft copy of that version. If a draft already exists, you will be asked whether to Edit Draft (continue the existing draft) or Replace Draft (discard the existing draft and create a new one from the selected version).
Deleting a form
Click the delete option on a form card to open the Delete Form modal. You can choose whether to also delete all associated submissions or keep them.
Submission usage
A submission usage banner at the top of the page shows how many form submissions you have used out of your plan limit. When you approach 80% of your limit, a warning appears. When you reach the limit, submissions are paused.
